From the Land

Two brothers establish Kuan Yuan Paper, entering the paper manufacturing industry. The foundational principle: find opportunity within change.

A Defining Transformation

Second generation Hsieh Kuan Yuan redesigns production systems from the ground up, pivoting from cultural paper to industrial paperboard manufacturing.

Industrial waste is processed into refuse-derived fuel (RDF), replacing coal as a primary energy source. This system drives our 95% coal replacement rate while reducing landfill waste streams.

1. Industrial Water Resource Systems

Kuan Yuan Technology Park is among the very few industrial parks in Taiwan equipped with a fully independent water treatment and supply system — a direct evolution of decades of wastewater expertise from Kuan Yuan Paper.

Daily water supply capacity reaches 40,000 tons, with cross-facility allocation management and industrial water quality control ensuring operational continuity for all resident enterprises.

2. Wastewater Treatment & Circular Water

Two dedicated wastewater treatment facilities operate within the park, ensuring all discharged water meets environmental regulations.
